ASEAN Diversity Through the Cultural Lens

Opportunities abound in the ASEAN countries, but it is important to understand the economic region has a diversity of cultures. Understanding those cultures lays the foundation for developing a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Diversity on a global basis is an all-encompassing principle that embraces people, environments, governments, and economies, as well as cultures. As Western businesses continue to expand operations into global venues, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) countries are playing an increasingly important role as they work together to strengthen their economies, achieve stability, and attract foreign investors.
