Participating in a charity golf tournament is a fun and easy way to integrate corporate social responsibility and networking. Of course, the idea behind a charity golf tournament is to raise awareness and money for a good cause. However, that does not mean that the contributors do not receive some sort of benefit from the gift.

Nearly every charity golf tournament provides some sort of incentive to its sponsors and participants apart from the satisfaction of helping a charity. In general, the tournaments provide marketing opportunities, tax incentives and ample opportunities to make business contacts. Although the charity may be receiving the contribution, the participants always leave the tournament with something valuable.
