Danyelle Granger Empowers People to Become D&I Leaders at Old National Bank

Danyelle Granger, the Senior Vice President, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Director for Old National Bank, has developed and implemented a number of D&I initiatives. They include Catalyst, a talent development program for racial minority employees, and Speak Up, a program to encourage and empower associates to speak up and to provide the tools and resources they need to address difficult situations with respectful dialogue. Danyelle created a Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Maturity Model, an assessment tool used to holistically assess inclusion efforts to identify strengths, opportunities for improvement, and new areas of focus.

Danyelle's overarching goal is to create an organizational culture in which all associates bring their authentic selves to the workplace. She believes authenticity must be present, and people must believe their ideas are welcomed and utilized, engagement and creativity flourish. Her guiding leadership principle is that leaders should model authenticity and show innovation in their own thinking and decision-making. Danyelle stays abreast of trends in the industry and workplace happenings, using the knowledge to drive internally focused inclusion efforts.
