Chandini Kamal is the Global Head, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, People & Culture (People Engagement, Wellness, Reward & Recognition, People Experience) at HCLTech. She facilitated the development of the DE&I charter, based on the premise that an increased degree of a ‘sense of belonging’ in an organization translates into a smarter, more creative, innovative, and empathetic workforce. She also created the Fostering Inclusion program. It offers inclusive skills trainings using the Inclusion @ Scale learning series, the Inclusion Lab for inculcating inclusive habits at leadership levels and the Communities of Practice platform that enables employees to engage in meaningful conversation. Additionally, Chandini promotes Allyship through the ERG networks and innovative people practices.
Deeply believing in the importance of embedding DE&I at all levels of the organization, Chandini developed several initiatives to increase women representation at the senior leadership level. These include career development programs for women employees, networking, and advocacy platforms to encourage valuable learnings and many more. She uses a holistic leadership framework that supports the important elements of an employee's life journey.
