Elizabeth A. Morrison is the Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer at Levi Strauss & Co., to which she brings her passion for social justice, equity, and mentoring of next-generation leaders. She led the launch of the first-ever global DE&I strategy, and the inaugural inclusion pulse survey showed 81% of corporate employees feeling strongly or very strongly that Levi Strauss has a culture of belonging. Elizabeth also led the initiative to formalize 13 partnerships with diversity-focused organizations, including a three-year partnership with Harlem’s Fashion Row. A curated fashion program curriculum was developed to help attract Black fashion students interested in design and develop top student talent.
Elizabeth follows four principles to drive success in DEI efforts: Investment and Visibility, Accountability, Transparency, and Advocacy. She is dedicated to building a vibrant and dynamic DEI effort that empowers the employee experience and attracts top diverse talent. Her goal is to ensure that the workforce reflects Levi’s global consumers and that the company culture welcome employees from all backgrounds, identities and beliefs. Her own leadership strengths are the foundation and include dynamic communications, deep global cultural competence and respect for diverse cultures, curiosity, and recognition.
