Jacqueline Blount at Ahold Delhaize Embeds DEI into Company’s DNA
The overarching goal of Jacqueline Blount, Global Director Diversity and Inclusion at Ahold Delhaize is to make diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) part of the organization’s DNA. She works closely with 20+ local brands in 10 countries to leverage the DEI strategic framework. She is responsible for developing and advancing the company's global DEI strategy. She works closely to support 20+ local brands in 10 countries to leverage the global DEI strategic framework while also tailoring to each brand's local needs.
Embedding DEI into the organization’s fabric was a major undertaking focusing on strategy, policies and practices, staffing, structure, culture, and accountability. Driven by data, the DEI strategy includes a wide range of activities. Policies and practices are reviewed for inclusion, staffing interventions to support a workforce reflecting the markets served, inclusive behaviors are embedded into the leadership journey, a DEI structure supports local brands, and metrics and measurements drive accountability. Jacqueline brings an experience and passion for DEI expressed through the building of authentic relationships.
