Jamey Martin became the Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer at Suntory Global Spirits (formerly Beam Suntory) in January 2024 after 15 years at Mondelez International, most recently serving as Sr. Director, Global DEI. While leading Mondelēz International’s DEI function in North America, she focused on engaging and educating leadership in the shifting cultural priorities of DEI and collaborating with them to establish meaningful DEI goals tied to performance objectives. Jamey created and launched the first DEI Impact Award for leadership. The peer-nominated awards had categories focused on driving inclusion across key areas, including representation, culture, and community.
Jamey uses data and data analytics in decision-making to objectively assess progress toward DEI goals and better understand the opportunities that will drive the most significant impact on the workforce and culture. Her leadership strengths include global strategic thinking, adaptability, and resilience. As Jamey begins her new role at Suntory Global Spirits, she plans to engage leaders in cultivating a culture of high performing diverse teams, while leveraging the engagement of the Employee Impact Groups and Ally Networks as a priority for creating a truly inclusive environment.
