Intuit’s La Toya Haynes leads the Racial Equity Advancement Leadership Team


As the Director of Racial Equity, in the People & Places organization at Intuit, La Toya T. Haynes is proud of Intuit’s decision to form the Racial Equity Advancement Leadership Team, (REAL Team). This team began with all Black employees to create strategic recommendations for improving the employees experience for all 16,000 employees globally. The REAL Team has made great progress including the delivery of racial equity training to more than 600 leaders, delivery of a four-part Black employee resilience workshop series, the addition of the Juneteenth holiday, and the creation of several support resources to aid employees as they complete their own inclusion journey.


La Toya celebrates the collaboration efforts of all the stakeholders and teams that have contributed to the DEI efforts with in Intuit. She shared their Anti-Racist Language Guidebook, Intuit’s refreshed Values, and Intuit’s commitment to reach and maintain pay equity for employees. She also recommends that other companies look for ways to create DEI solutions with their internal partners: Data and Analytics, Compensation, Legal, Employee Experience, HR Line, Recruiting and Talent Development.
