Driven by a determination to bring greater focus to the principles of DEI through robust governance and measurement, Paul has been instrumental in ensuring the success of AMS’s DEI programme. He established the business’s first internal DEI function and in 2022 developed a Centre of Excellence, enabling AMS clients to access his team’s expertise. His passion and leadership have ensured AMS have been at the forefront of best practice in the sector, increasing representation across the organisation through programmes such as the AMS ethnicity action plan and through the empowerment of AMS’s extensive Employee Representative Groups.
Under Paul’s stewardship AMS has implemented a 3-year action plan with goals including: increasing minority representation from 4% to 16% by the end of 2023, embedding diversity data collection, implementing a leadership ally programme, and improving minority access to senior hire processes.
Paul’s determination to create an environment which delivers opportunities for all has been central to building AMS’s culture of positivity and inclusivity.
