Rolddy Leyva became Splunk’s Chief Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB) Officer in January, 2022. His global experience spans over 25 years and multiple industries including Anheuser-Busch, Sodexo and Capital One prior to joining Splunk.
His early accomplishments included the development of an international recruitment program with Anheuser-Busch Entertainment Corporation, and the scaled integration of diversity & inclusion across Sodexo worldwide. While at Capital One, Leyva launched a multi-year “Belonging” strategy, scaled the diversity team and function, leveraged sophisticated analytics and insights to inform programming, led the company’s comprehensive response to the 2020 racial justice movement, and facilitated deep systems-level work focused on workplace inclusion & fairness.
Joining Splunk presented an opportunity to build on the company’s long-standing commitment to diversity & inclusion. Leyva launched a multi-year strategic plan that introduced and centered “belonging”, built a new DEIB function from the ground-up, upgraded DEIB analytics and reporting to grow transparency and trust, and elevated the visibility and impact of the company’s nine ERGs. He collaborates with the CEO, Chief People Officer and Executive Leadership Team to build Splunk’s DEIB capability and contribute to Splunk’s role as a leading employer of choice and global corporate citizen.
