Mizuho Americas Ronald Taylor Takes D&I Throughout Region

Ronald Taylor assumed the position of Managing Director, Head of Diversity and Inclusion at Mizuho Americas in July 2020. He is charged with leading the firm’s efforts to further a culture that benefits from diverse life experiences, viewpoints and expertise. Prior to joining Mizuho Americas, he was Diversity Officer with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, Ronald believes the most effective way to ensure success in D&I efforts is to give practitioners a meaningful seat at the table with senior executives who are willing to listen and take action to move D&I forward. He has the full support of the CEO & Chairman to take D&I initiatives throughout the region, by partnering with stakeholders to advance and promote a firm-wide policy of workplace equity.

Taylor was a recipient of the 2017 Tri-State Diversity Council’s Leadership Excellence Award. He currently serves on the Bronx Community College Board of Advisors and recently joined the Board of Advisors of Genesys Works NYC. He is also a past member of Harlem’s Reviving Baseball in Inner cities (RBI) Board of Directors and St Anthony High School's Board of Trustees. Taylor served on the National Board of Directors and is a lifetime member of the National Association of Black Accountants.
