2024 Top 15 Chief Diversity Officers Bring Excellence to DEIB Progress

Supriya Jha accelerates systemic inclusion at SAP

Building systemic inclusion begins with establishing transparency and accountability. Under the leadership of Supriya Jha, Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer at SAP, the company released its first public report on Diversity & Inclusion in 2022. SAP focuses on creating balance in the workforce composition across various dimensions of diversity, ensuring equal opportunities for everyone to progress into leadership positions. Globally, gender balance is a priority for SAP, and a new KPI for women in executive ranks will become effective in 2024. Jha influences the work of several HR practices, and the impact can be seen in inclusive hiring practices, total rewards and benefits, learning initiatives, and more.

Supriya also champions the topic of Autism inclusion and has elevated the decade-long Autism at Work program at SAP, now partnering with Disability:IN to advance neurodiversity in the marketplace.

Jha strongly values rigorous data-based strategic planning and established the Data Analytics Center of Excellence to ensure D&I data is integrated into all workforce-related decision-making processes. With her support, the Executive Board and leaders are invited to engage with the 13 Global Employee Network Groups (ENGs) as advisors. Success is evident in the maturation of the ENGs, with some on the path to becoming Business Resource Groups. With Supriya’s support, these groups are empowered to make not only SAP but also all those who engage with them champions of D&I.
