Tim Dismond is Dedicated to Leading CBRE’s Corporate Responsibility Efforts


As the Chief Responsibility Officer at CBRE, Tim Dismond is a member of the Executive Committee, i.e., the nine executives who report to CBRE’s CEO, and is responsible for some of the company’s most visible projects. He works at the intersection of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, environmental sustainability, community investment, safety & wellbeing, and policy engagement to achieve a more just and sustainable future. In 2021, CBRE exceeded its goal to spend $1 billion with diverse suppliers and drive economic impact in underserved communities.


Tim also launched the company’s Community Impact Initiative, to create strategic partnerships with 14 nonprofits focused on equitable climate solutions, increasing equity in CBRE’s Dallas headquarters community, and connecting more individuals who are underrepresented in the commercial real estate industry with career opportunities.


Tim says the Executive Committee is held accountable for showing how they hire, develop, and promote underrepresented talent. Under Tim’s leadership, CBRE has garnered top sustainability and DE&I recognitions, including as Barron’s 11th most sustainable US-based company.
