Michelle Marshall was appointed the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for PUMA USA. In her role with PUMA, Michelle is responsible for overseeing, designing, and implementing change initiatives that foster a culture of diversity and inclusion while driving employee engagement across all our offices and stores in the US and Canada.
Michelle formerly oversaw Women’s Leadership Initiatives for The United Way of Greater Atlanta where she was responsible for developing strategy, programming, board development, volunteer management, and advocating for and providing resources towards United Way’s initiative of improving Child Well-Being in Metro Atlanta.
Prior to joining United Way, Michelle spent 11 years at Nationwide Insurance where she held a variety of roles in claims, underwriting, sales, and operations. In her last role with Nationwide, she was the regional lead for diversity strategy and outreach, marketing activations, and oversaw the corporate citizenship budget and allocations and managed volunteerism projects. She increased brand awareness through sponsorships, volunteerism, media placement, and executed 300+ marketing activations at sporting events and diversity conferences/events.

Michelle is a board member on the National Black MBA Association Atlanta Chapter and is the Co-Chair of the Development Committee for the national office of National Black MBA Association.
Michelle has a Bachelor of Business Administration/Marketing from Middle Tennessee State University and received her MBA from Bethel University.
