Just in time for World Tourism Day, celebrated each year on September 27th, the A & B BUZZ an E-Magazine targeting the North American market has been relaunched in a new multimedia format to strengthen the Tourism teams on line presence.
Published each month by the US and Canadian Tourism offices, the A & B BUZZ covers a specific tourism market niche for which the destination is positioned. The publication utilizes social media marketing tools to reach new audiences and prospects and build loyalty among travel agents and repeat guests.
The August/September issue features Antigua and Barbuda’s “Culture” and captures major highlights from Antigua’s recently concluded 54th Carnival celebrations, authentic cuisine, language and customs. World Tourism Day will be celebrated under the theme “Tourism Linking Cultures,”and a special release of the A & B BUZZ and a Webinar will be hosted for travel agents, to support the team’s long term digital strategy.

Director of Tourism, Derede Samuel-Whitlock who also acts as the publication’s Editor, is very excited about the A & B BUZZ’s success as an on-line resource and direct marketing tool that has helped to contain print and distribution costs. “At a time when resources are limited, the BUZZ in its third year has grown tremendously in terms of size and circulation and has allowed us to remain relatively competitive in the marketplace. The latest publication has undergone a number of face lifts, based on recommendations and feedback from our valued readers and stakeholders.”
