Washington, D.C. — The United Nations Foundation announced that Ambassador Elizabeth M. Cousens will join its team as Deputy Chief Executive Officer. Cousens, who currently serves as the U.S. Representative to the United Nations Economic and Social Council and Alternate Representative to the UN General Assembly, is an experienced diplomat and negotiator and a well-known champion of multilateral cooperation, peace, security, and sustainable development.
